Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting describes the most frequent problems encountered in apiMAX. The scope is to support the user to track down and to resolve the technical problems encounterd.

Updater

Error message: "apiMAX application is running!"

 

Error message: "apiMAX Updater has detected that Background Intelligent Transfer Service is disabled".

 

Error message: "There are currently no active network connections. Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) will try again when an adapter is connected".

 

Error message: "The file could not be replaced because it's already in use by someone else". 



Error message: "The underlying connection was closed. The remote name could not be resolved." 

 

Updater Error 407: "Proxy Authentication required"


 

Application

Error message "Failed to open model" when trying to open a composite model 

 

Application is not responding after Copy/Paste in Symbol view

 

Error on creating project in a network path

 

Registry error when trying to install an older version over v.2.40

 

Zoom toolbar is not working in Print Preview mode

 

Outlet Pressure for Heater cannot be set higher then 10 atm 

 

Out of memory exception

 

apiMax process is running in background

 

Compound_Equipment Project is installing, but it is not registering in apiMAX

 

Interaction with Excel

Modification in the excel file name affects the way apiMAX calculates

 

Edit the stream properties makes the Excel to save after each modification
